Change on Dodmerb page?

Is there anything on the DODMERB page that changes either way in terms of an appointment to USNA?

I was looking back at the threads from this time last year and it seems people were learning of their appointments through DODMERB before any phone call or correspondence (BFE) from USNA. Is that happening this year?

No. No changes on DoDMERB whatsoever for appointments.

There was, however, a brief period of time when "Subagency: NALOA" was posted for an LOA. But that disappeared in December.

Though, in my case, because I had an LOA and two nominations, the waiver was the "be all end all."

I wonder if it was a glitch last year or just a policy change that they're not doing it again this year? Or is this the first year that DoDmerb hasn't shown appointment status changes? DS is checking the mailbox constantly .....several times in the same night sometimes.... and he was told by a friend who is in the USNA class of 2015 that he learned of his status from dodmerb and so this is the latest thing for DS to obsess about until he gets the answer that will dictate his future.

Probably a policy change. They want people to be pleasantly surprised when the BFE just shows out of nowhere or when the they get a call from their MOC.

And it's probably better. I was really not at all surprised when the BFE showed up, and it was kinda sad how little emotion I had because I had known it was coming since October.
