I am applying to a school that does not offer the major(it is an engineering major) that I chose for my Army ROTC scholarship application. However, the school does offer several majors that I am interested in, all of them also being engineering majors. If I get into this school, and I decide to attend there, will they take away my scholarship for not majoring in what I told them I would(I would still be majoring in some type of engineering)? On my portal it says "Currently, there are five academic discipline groups in the Army ROTC Four Year Scholarship Program; Generalist, Technical, Physical Science/Analytical Engineering and Nursing. You may select your academic major from among these discipline groups. Once a scholarship has been awarded, prior approval must be given for any change of academic major which migrates from one discipline group to another discipline group." which leads me to believe that it would only cause problems if I tried to go from an engineering major to Generalist major or something and that I would not encounter any problems trying to switch from one engineering major to another. But I'm not sure if I am misinterpreting it.
