    Chicago Area

Is the Chicago Area considered a very competitive area for nominations and appointments?

I would think so. Most large urban areas are (with notable exceptions) fairly competitive. However, the better question would be: is my congressional district very competitive? Because you're not competing with everyone in Chicago... just those in your congressional district.

What district are you in Chicago? I know me and my friend are both applying to West Point this year and we are both 4th District. I actually did not know that many people were applying to USMA in Chicago so I don't know much about the competitiveness, you are the first that I have heard. What School do you go to in Chicago?
