The application for AFROTC only appears to allow you to select from a specific list of majors. There are drop downs where you select your choices. There does not seem to be an option to type in something else. My DS was considering biomedical engineering which I believe would be considered a STEM major but nowhere on the application to put that. Thoughts? Thanks for your help.

Choose the closest, e.g. Chemical engineering, ME, or general engineering. It's all about points at this stage. Let the Det worry about it later.

I'm studying biomedical engineering as well and I listed chemical engineering as I have to take many of those courses in that major as well. Biomedical engineering is really a form of chemical engineering with more biology.
