Choosing a Major?

Hello everyone, im fairly new to this forum

does choosing a not-so-popular major help your chances of getting admitted to military academy? (or colleges in general?)

for example: african studies... or cognitive science vs engineering

You don't chose your major until your sophomore year in most cases. It's not like a normal university that can only take so many students for each of their colleges. Everyone that is admitted to WP starts into the core curriculum. Putting what ones you may be interested in does nothing to help your chances of admission.
