I just got accepted into NASS last week. Have already sent back my paperwork and sent in payment for Session 3. Quick question, I have received my official candidate number, but how do I get into the Candidate Information System (CIS). I click on the link on the usna.edu page but it says that I need a username and password to enter the site. I know my username is xxxxxx, or the third line on my NASS aceptance letter. How do I find my password??????

That is actually not the password. There is one universal username and password used by everyone, which leads you to a page where you full out your full name, social, and candidate number, which then leads to your CIS page. I know the username and password, but I don't know if you're supposed to know it yet. You'll find out soon enough.

The CIS won't open for the Class of 2017 until late May/early June. They send out a letter in May with that information and then it's pretty self explanatory from there. Good luck and keep up the motivation, the faster you get your app and nomination completed the faster you'll hear back. For now start working your Congressman and Senators, see what they require.

napxc16, the USNA Admissions "Steps for Admission" site says it opens up April 1. A different thread said they'd send out the info once it opens up.

Congrats on getting into NASS! Hopefully, I'll be there too, but I have yet to hear back.
