I know that the weekend for Junior Parents this year is Sept. 21 - 23rd. There is nothing on the Naval Academy website about the schedule yet. Since I am flying in from the west coast, I need to know when to get into Annapolis. Any ideas from previous years what the schedule is like????? I don't want to wait till the last minute to book airline tickets. And it is my understanding that there are a couple of reunions also that weekend.

First, there are reunions EVERY football home-game WE.
I'll defer to current/recent parents but, as a general rule, activities for parents' weekends start in full force on Friday and end by Sunday at 1800 (6 pm). There may be some stuff on Thursday. I'd plan to arrive NLT Thursday evening and either take a late flight home Sunday or stay over until Monday.

21-23 Sep Annapolis hotels
Weekend of 21-23 Sep is also the ginormous 40th and 50th year reunions of '72 and '62 respectively, who will have reserved entire hotels and large blocks of others.
Last week, in relation to a work thing, I was looking for hotel rooms in Annapolis for that weekend - every B&B was booked, the Westin had a few rooms left, and nearest business chain hotels with availability were BWI airport complex.
Towns to try if Annapolis is booked, some national chains there:
BWI/Linthicum
Ft. Meade/Odenton
Bowie
Columbia
Laurel
Kent Island (other side of Bay Bridge)
Baltimore and suburbs

Events are essentially Friday and Saturday. We flew on Thursday and returned Sunday evening. The time change works in your favor on Sunday so you can stay for most of the day and still get a late afternoon or early evening flight returning to the West Coast Sunday night not too late.
