Class of 2017- College Application List

Just wanted to mention a few updates! I received an offer of appointment to the United States Naval Academy yesterday! So excited and honored! Still can't believe it!

Also, I called the Citadel admissions office and asked if they had my complete application. They said they did, and that it would take about 4 weeks - 6 weeks for a decision. Is this an accurate timeframe for those who have been accepted?

From what I have read it is fairly accurate.

And you don't understand how envious of you I am right now! I went to Nass and I absolutely loved it, I wish I wasn't messed up grade wise!!

I wish I got to go to NASS! I got rejected.
Thank you very much, and I doubt you messed up your grades! You've been accepted to such outstanding schools!

I'm sorry! I was LUCKY and got into that. No worries though, you got to go to NASS! :) Are you applying to the USNA?

The application is started etc but I probably won't finish it. I would be satisfied with the citadel or Norwich quite honestly. I love the regiment of life at the academies. I tell my class mates its an acquired taste haha

Wow that's a very intense group of ec's! Hopefully I find out before 4 weeks

My son was just accepted to The Citadel, completed the online app on 9/3, transcripts send on 9/24. Acceptance letter received today 10/5. So at least from our experience, the 4-6 weeks is a fairly accurate timeframe. Good luck!

Just wanted to provide an exciting update! I received my acceptance letter to the Citadel yesterday on 10/09. The letter is dated 10/04. I am shocked about how fast I received a decision! My application file was labeled to be complete on 09/28. I must've caught the Citadel right before a review board!

I am a current knob in the class of 2016, and I recieved my acceptance letter less than a week after applying. However, I didn't apply until late April/early May of my senior year of high school. Any questions about the school please feel free to PM me or post on this thread.

No i was talking about me. Apparently my previous school had a class called global issues and it isnt US history even though our text books title was "US History"

That is correct. I believe once the browser session ends (you close the browser) then you can no longer edit your posts. Of course your session can time out as well which would lead to the same result.
