I do agree that if someone simply inquires about the process then they shouldn't be counted. We are at a highly competitive high school. We have parents who have started the SA app process and have made statements about not moving forward due to the amount of time and energy to complete it.
This exactly what I'm talking about! Just because somebody starts the process and is assigned a candidate number, doesn't mean they should be considered as an applicant for selectivity purposes.
I'd love to know how many applicants are actually boarded vs. those that have simply begun the application process without finishing. Do any of you BGOs know this?
