I started my candidate file a couple weeks prior of today (Class of 2019), and I have opened up my candidate portal. The Overview says the evaluations will not begin until July 1st, but I can still update my profile before then, correct? Sorry if this is as an obvious answer. And will West Point automatically update my ACT scores if I ask ACT to send my scores to them? Thank you

I'm also applying for 2019. I think if you send the ACT scores through ACT it should be good. I did that with the SAT the other day and I believe that once the scores are posted to SAT, they will send it to West Point.

Hey, good luck to you on your application, man! If you don't mind me asking, what is you SAT/ACT currently at?

Updating:
ACT/SAT - when USMA processes the official scores from the testing agency, they'll update your file.
Class Rank: when your 6 semester transcripts arrive and/or when your counselor sends an update
Leadership: when you send an update.

Recommendation: consolidate these on a 1-page resume and send in the late spring. Attention is primarily on 2018 until late May/early June when they can then focus on reviewing 2019 files.

And for leadership, what does the Academy specifically look at? Clubs, office positions, community service, Boy State? That particular genre?
