Anyone know how long after paperwork submission and approval it typically takes for payment to go through? My paperwork was received and approved by Cadet Command today and it reflects in the Army Cadet Portal. Thanks!

Nah, I took it over a year ago. My HRA had issues submitting it.

Based on that thread, it sounds like if the paperwork was submitted after December, it's too late. Assuming whoever said that was mistaken in their interpretation, it usually takes, in my experience, about a month after final grades come out. Of course, if my battalion doesn't send them immediately, it's possible that the wait is actually shorter.

I've already commissioned and I'm still waiting on a CLIP-B payment. I've never seen or heard of any reliable timeframe for payment with CLIP.

Just got it figured out. After a year of dealing with "there's an issue with the paperwork" and "this has the wrong signature" and a load of other random problems, I finally got it figured out because my HRA is awesome. He got an email from Cadet Command confirming my paperwork submission, acceptance, and approval. My status in Army Cadet Portal for CLIP-B pay went to "approved" and "paid" and I'll be getting the money on the next pay period.

Long story short, keep reminding your HRA/PMS, and it will get done. I took the course in Fall 2013 and JUST received pay for it now.
