Clubs

Hey everyone,

I am in the process of constructing a rugby club at my high school. I also thought about not making it school affiliated and just finding other small clubs to compete against. Would the academy view a non-school affiliated club equal as a school affiliated club? Which would reflect a better leadership role? I am asking this because I'm not sure how I would validate the creation of a club not affiliated with the school.

School affiliated or not, starting a club is only a plus in the eyes of the Academy. It shows leadership for sure, and I don't believe school affiliated is a better leadership role. You shouldn't care about starting a club just to look good in the eyes of the Academy, you should start a club because you love rugby.
