I know it is a while out, but I have been thinking about Clubs/sports that I would like to be involved in while I am at USMA. I was wondering if anybody could tell me about some cool clubs there. I would also like to know about the Intramurals, as I don't know much about what you have to take, and the options after that. I am interested in Football, SCUBA, Golf, snowboarding, fishing, hunting, paintball, and possibly shooting (of any kind). Thoughts?

This may be a cop out but you can go to the page for Competitive club sports they offer and that includes things like football and stuff that's not varsity.
For hobby clubs they include stuff like hunting/fly fishing, and lastly the military clubs include a pistol team that competes. I hope this helps!
Edit: ah shoot I'm not allowed to post links yet...

Let me rephrase! Haha. Sorry guys. I visited usma.edu before posting this and I know what is offered, but I was wondering if anybody has any experience(s) with any of the activities I listed as my interests, or if there are any they would highly suggest becoming involved in. Maybe there are parents with DD/DS that are involved in these and can offer some advice on some good ones to do, or maybe things that work well together?

IM's are mandatory for anyone not on a D1 or Competitive Club team. They play twice a week for most of the semester, and include things like flag football, wrestling, swimming, flickerball, etc.

Competitive clubs can be found here: http://www.usma.edu/dca/SitePages/Competitive Sports.aspx
For the most part, they practice everyday and replace you IM requirement. They all have limited roster spots. I'm on the paintball team if you have questions about that.

Other clubs are more for fun but do not get you out of IM's. They typically meet on Tuesday nights.

There are not any football teams that are not Division 1 (Regular and Sprint, both D1).

Does playing on the paintball team require a lot of previous experience? I have played paintball a few times before, but I have never done like the hardcore competitive stuff.

Prior experience with speedball (http://youtu.be/4F2AfuEb77s) isn't a requirement but it will definitely help. We have tryouts at the beginning of the year and usually bring on 3-4 people.
