Hi Everyone,

I am currently a college student, re-applying to USNA. I currently have a Principle Nomination from my MOC, and am medically/physically qualified.

During my fall quarter, I struggled a bit with Chemistry, in which it caused me to have to retake it Winter quarter. However, this quarter has gone much better, and I just recently sent a mid-term transcript to USNA notifying them of my current Chemistry grade, which is a B.

I am very happy about this, and I was wondering if this would make me Academically qualified, thus, assuring an Appointment? As a side note, the other grades from Fall quarter were A's.

Thanks!

Hard to answer on the basis of the above. If you took other "plebe" courses, such as calc, English, history, physics (a 3/C USNA course) and got As, the chemistry grade is fine. A B is never bad. However, understand as well that at USNA, you can't afford to retake lots of courses b/c you have to graduate in 4 yrs, so that COULD factor into their decision.

jmo, but I'd be encouraged. especially w/ a princiPAL nom. keep us posted, you'll help to inform others w/ your experience. Blessings and best wishes for success!
