Hello everyone, I first wanted to congratulate those that have been offered an appointment this year! I am a reapplying as I did not receive an appointment for the C/O 2019. Just as of a few days ago I received a nom from my MOC and am waiting to hear back from one of my senators. I finished with a 4.0 for my first semester of college. I'm feeling pretty good and this is the life that I want. I would do anything for an opportunity to be able prove myself at NAPS. Any advice?

Practically speaking, NAPS is 99.9% out of the question.

NAPS would add another year onto your current freshman year, so you upon entering USNA you will be taking six years to get your bachelors and commission that route.

Your 4.0 GPA and noms puts you in a good position for to be appointed directly into USNA depending on your SAT/ACT test scores and EC's. NAPS functions as a prep school to ensure you will succeed at USNA. Your current college course work should already be demonstrating this to admissions.

However, if you are NOT appointed this year to USNA this year, are you going to reapply again?
In other words, what is your plan B? Are you in NROTC currently? Is your first priority goal to attend USNA, or to commission as a United States Naval/Marine officer?

Hello, if I do not receive and appointment again for this year I am going to be reapplying again. I am not going to give up on this dream and whatever it takes is what I am going to do to reach this goal of mine. I am not in NROTC currently and if I do not receive an appointment I am going to go transfer to an NROTC school. Primary goal is to attend USNA however.
