When do 3rd year cadets get offered their commitments to stay in the Acadmey/AF? Just curious as my DD is in her 3rd year and commitment would seem to be right around the corner.

Commitment is the first day of classes their C2C year. I have a C3C right now, so she will be committing in the fall.

Yes, the 1st day of classes going into your 3rd year (c2C) is the day you are "Committed". However, they have the official "Ring Ceremony" later on.

Ring Dance and Commitment are different.
Commitment is the first day of classes, but there is also usually a formal dinner for it sometime near the start of the academic year.
Ring Dance is toward the end of 2 dig year, when cadets get their class rings.
