I see there is a ton of applicants who are in contact with their admissions officers during this process. My DD has contacted her admissions officer a few times to see where her application stands without an answer. I am going to assume that the CGA is not interested in her if they do not respond, is that an accurate assumption. Should she just move on?

Your DD should always have a Plan B, C and so on. But no, if CGA is what she wants, then keep trying. If not this year, then next year. She could also try contacting Admissions directly. My personal opinion is that no response is not the same as no. Perhaps Objee can help?

Do NOT make that assumption. While the AO may not be very responsive, that does not mean the Academy isn't interested. I won't make excuses for the AO, but they are very busy people, especially this time of year. The first place she should look is the Bear's Den, to see the status of her applications. You can also send a private message to Objee and he might be able to check up when he has time.

Your DD isn't in until she has official notification in hand, but she is not out until she has the TWE. Yes, keep alternate plans active, but don't stop pushing!

Thanks, I think she is torn about contacting over and over. She has a great Plan B, to a great PharmD program. Her application and personal interview were done before January 1st of 2014. Patience I guess is what we need.

Objee, the Admissions Rep on this forum, may have a different opinion since he is the expert but I think that your DD should feel free to contact her AO until they respond. This is a very busy time of year with both appointments to the new class as well as AIM applications but that doesn't mean she should stop trying! Little or no contact does not equate to not being interested in your DD at all! The Admissions staff is relatively small when looking at the number of applicants they have to sort through each year.
