Company Assignment

How do we find out what company our DS will be assigned? Is it in the permit to report packet? Also his email address?

When visiting the Parents Club of GA to join it asked for our mids company and email address. Will we receive those prior to his reporting?

I suggest that he keep a "personal" email address for communication with you. My 2nd Class S uses his USNA email address only for official purposes and a gmail address for everything else.
 
There's usually a letter sent mid-June, a couple of weeks before I-Day. The plebe summer platoon number is going to be their academic year company number: November Company, 25th Platoon is 25th Company.

My son did not find out his company assignment until I-Day, during check-in. The company designation for Plebe Summer and the academic year is different but related. For example, some plebes from the class of 2016 were assigned Delta (D) Company, Eighth Platoon. When the brigade reformed (all Midshipmen report back to USNA after summer) to begin the academic year they were integrated into Eighth Company. In other words their platoon designation became their company designation. Cheers.
