For anyone who has received a conditional appointment, will they notify you by phone or email early on, like those who have received full appointments have been notified? Or will it be closer to the notification deadline date with the wait listed and rejected applicants?

My son has received a conditional appointment. He was EA1. He did receive a phone call prior to receiving the official notice in the mail.

DD recieved an email and then a call from a coach she had been in contact with within a day or two, then an admissions call about a week later.

I received a conditional appointment via email, didn't get a letter or a phone call. Good luck!

DD got a female admissions officers call stressing why USCGA is a good career choice for women ( I guess it was relative to other branches). Also then you will get email about going to a "cadet experience" overnight visit in late Feb or March.

Was there any reflection of the appointment in bears den?

Jayhawk circled my school today multiple times and we joked at lunch saying it was air delivering my appointment decision... getting more anxious as time goes by!

DD submitted her application for EA II. She received an email in mid December informing her she would be reviewed by the board in the near future. She received a phone call on January 14 offering her a full appointment, followed two days later by an email to inviting her to attend the Academy Experience (overnight visit). Her Bear's Den still shows no check mark in the box next to Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete.
