My DS received appointment in December. He completed paperwork and mailed back in February.

Since then, we have not heard much. I am wondering if he should call and confirm that The Academy has received his acceptance?

Has anyone who has accepted received further correspondence?

What will be the next thing he should receive and when will it come?

Just trying to be proactive and not miss anything.
 
My DS received an email acknowledging his acceptance of the appointment about a month or so after he accepted it in January. I would not hesitate to have him email his RD to confirm their receipt of his acceptance. While he's at it, ask them when Permit to Report packets are coming out!:thumb:
 
DS got his Permit to Report paperwork in May last year. He accepted his appointment in February.
 
DS also received an e-mail from the lady in charge of nomination and appointment acknowleding the receipt of his acceptance paper work. Then we received his birth certificate back. DS e-mailed this lady asking if his police report was received as the report was sent directly from the County Sheriff Department. She immediately replied back that his police report has been scanned and in his file. USNA has been communicating very well. We are waiting for the I-day instructions which is supposed to be mailed in mid April, I think.
 
I can't seem to edit my post, but I think the packet did come in April and some portion of it was due back in May. Sorry for the bad information.

Hello All,
The last we heard the Permit to Report packet will be mailed out mid April. Congrats to all incoming Class of 2016 Plebes.

I never got confirmation, so I just called the Admissions office. They were able to confirm receipt of everything on the other end for me.
