The 2nd Annual U.S. Service Academy and Military Career Forum
Meet Representatives from each Service Academy and Congresswoman Tsongas' Academy Nominations Committee to learn how you can attend one of the elite educational institutions in the United States.
Monday, October 19th
Billerica Memorial High School
35 River Street
Billerica, MA
6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Every year Congresswoman Tsongas nominates outstanding candidates for admission into one of four United States service academies: The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York (Army), the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. You will also have the opportunity to learn about other excellent service academies including the Coast Guard Academy, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and Norwich University.
This event will provide information on how to pursue an appointment to one of these prestigious schools and is open to all students in 8th thru 12th Grade that reside in the 5th District.
Representatives from the United States Service Academies and Congresswoman Tsongas' Nominations Committee will be available to answer questions about the Academies, and the nomination process for admission.
