So I'm a Junior in highschool this year, and I met my ALO about 3 months ago or so and just talked with him for a while, was told to call if i had any questions, but i've been able to find all of them out online so far, but when should i contact him about actually getting things done towards my application. Like right away in March when i fill out the PCQ? Been wondering this for a while...

Thanks

Hi!

You can contact an ALO at any time with any question. As for your application, while most ALO's will be very open with helping you (I don't know any that won't, actually) they really can't do much but answer questions this early out.

BUT...if you can do the following:

a. Put together a basic "resume" of EVERYTHING you have done in/out of school, in the community, sports, etc...etc...etc...since the first day of 9th grade
b. Think of any questions you might have for him/her
c. Put together your letters for your MOC and both senators
d. Make certain PSAT/PLAN/ACT/SAT scores are sent to USAFA, and have them to tell your ALO
e. Find out how good your physical condition is: take the CFA just for yourself to see how you'd do...and know if the ALO asks

If you do all this...your ALO will love it; they'll know you are SERIOUS and they'll respond accordingly!!

Besides...you'll need ALL of this when you apply, so getting an early start on it is nice! :thumb:

K, Thanks Steve!

One more question, I had my SAT scores sent to the Academy, will they just create a file for me or should I call? As I suppose they'll just get them and be like who is this guy?
