Tug, your post is a wonderful testament to your love for your son - and beautifully written. I wish your son all the best as he waits this week. From all you have posted about the extra steps he has taken this year, I'm sure your worries are without need. But you have also posted much wisdom for those who may find themselves having to evaluate the next step for a year delayed.
 
Big week

Thank you. My intent wasn't to draw attention but to share and relieve so stress. I kinda let out too much.

Maybe if we all let out a BIG HOOAH, it will relieve some of the stress. Ok, all together now....HOOAH!.....worked for me. (for about 3 seconds). Hang in there, we're almost at the BIG REVEAL! GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS! :wink:
 
As I look back on our 2-year journey through this process, I am reminded of a favorite quote that sums up the whole experience... "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved." -Helen Keller

I am so honored to be a part of my DS's trial (and suffering). Watching him navigate this experience proves to me that he is no longer my baby but a young man on his way to make his mark on the world.
