-I received my nomination. How many of those with official nominations and Triple Q'd receive actual appointments?

-I took the SAT on Saturday, my regional director told me that the January SAT was the last one accepted, however my BGO said the December one was the last one accepted. Which is it?

-When is the last time to resubmit CFA scores?

-For home schooled candidates, what did you write for course description? I have taken many courses at a community college, do I need to write e/t for those courses, or can I just send in the transcripts?

Thanks!

January is the last time that a senior can take the SATs and report them for colleges to consider. At least that is what our guidance counselors tell us at my school.

For my high school classes my mother wrote a letter that contained the summary of the course as given by the publisher. If it was Algebra II from Saxon Math, she went to their website and used their course description. As for my college courses, I think we used the description that was provided by the college when I signed up for classes.

For the class of 2012

Fully Qualified Nominees: 2196
Offers of Admission: 1537

There are similar stats for 2013, but I don't have them.

Good Luck:thumb:

You have to realize that there are levels of being qualified... some are highly qualified while others are barely qualified, so being 3Q'd is a bit vague. You have received last year's information and it is reasonable to assume that except for the number of applicants 2012 would be roughly equivalent.

One of the things you will learn at USNA is attention to detail... you would be well advised to give a reasonably complete description of your home courses as there naturally is concern about the quality and performance on home schooling since it is not monitored as closely as traditional schooling. It is in your best interest to be thorough and concisely so.
