I just scheduled my DODMERB appointment, and the lady I talked to said I had to wait 90 days for my appointment. I was informed this was going to be a short 21 day waiting period as the DODMERB website say all other contacs(other that soft contacs) should be removed 21 days prior.

Im trying to get my Academy App in before 1 Nov, for the EA program. Will this affect it? And is she right about the 90 day waiting period?

Hmm, we just went through this and it was no trouble to get an appt. within a week of calling. DS only needed to keep his contacts out for 3 days prior to the appt. Not sure why there would be a 90 day wait.

he had soft contact lenses. I have hard lenses. I sleep with them in at night and take them out in the morning

CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy) lenses are a whole different animal than regular soft or hard contacts. Since they are designed to slowly re-shape your cornea, I can see why there is a 90 day wait to let the eyes go back to a natural state before your exam. Hopefully someone will have a definitive answer for you.
