Hello,

This aimed more at CT applicants than anyone else. Just wanted to know if anybody has heard back from Senator Dodd concerning their nomination status. At the interview they said we should find out in the next week or so.

Good luck to all!

Letter

Received a letter from Senator Chris Dodd in the mail today. Unfortunately I was not selected for a nomination. At least I still have a chance with Senator Joe Lieberman!

Congrats to those who were nominated!

Son also got the NO letter yesterday. Good Luck to all.

Yeah I pretty much knew the moment I saw the envelope on the kitchen counter that it was a "No" letter.

Kind of disappointing but it was very competitive this year. Good luck to those in need of a nomination.

A couple weeks ago, I got a rejection letter from one of my Senators too. I was REALLY disappointed as well, but there's stiff competition this year, and at least you have a chance with the other Senator!

Either way, we still have our congressmen, so don't give up the ship!(;

Sorry to hear about the bad news. How many of you had LOAs?

No LOA

Hey,

Unfortunately I have not received a LOA. So far all I have received is a Scholastically Qualified Letter and DoDMERB Qualification Letter. So basically I am just 3Q'd. I also have a Presidential Nomination.

Today the Admission Board met so I'm praying that I see NALOA on my DoDMERB page tomorrow. I received new SAT scores (610 Math, 590 Reading), and today they were added. I know they're not great scores, but I fall into the 50th percentile now!

I have a Presidential Nomination, so I'm not too worried, but it would be great to get a Senatorial one.

Gatch... be aware that the Presidential essentially is a competitive nom, and in any case you need to keep your focus on making yourself the BEST qualified candidate you can be. Every BGO on this site can tell you tales of very qualified candidates who missed the mark of receiving an offer of appointment. The rest of this is jumping through hoops... your prime objective has to be making yourself the BEST qualified candidate you can be!

Best wishes to all the candidates.
