There are 3 listed that have to be received before the trip and were not given yet. They are considered "travel" immunizations.
Typhoid
Japanese Encephalitis
Rabies
These 3 are not covered under my med insurance and pretty expensive. Is it possible that Army will cover these costs? It will cost upwards of $750 for all 3.

I don't know about the Army covering the cost, but I know State Health Departments will administer vaccines for foreign travel. Click here for your state -- http://www.immunize.org/states/ -- then see if there's a health department near you and call them about the cost. I did it years ago in CA when I went to SE Asia; also just looked up KS and each health dept offers a variety of vaccines.

Thanks, but these clinics don't do these "travel" shots and even if they did, won't be covered if you have insurance.

Apparently it's different by state (or county) then. I can visit my county health department, they accept my private health insurance, out-of-pocket for the Typhoid vaccine is $101 if you don't have insurance ($78 in the next county over).

I am sure your cadre deals with this annually and upperclass Cadets have done this year's before. Check with them and they can give you the best advice on places to get shots, costs and reimbursement.

My son did a CULP trip last year. All AROTC students in his battalion attending CULP were driven to the closest military base and given the required shots for no cost. This occurred sometime early in the second semester.
That's what happened for him. YMMV

When I worked with CULP this was what we had cadets from my school do for their trips. Other cadets, if not able to go with their school, were reimbursed for immunization expenses.

Yes, this is exactly what I was told.
