Today is supposed to be the day that CULP selections are announced. Has anyone heard anything yet? For those cadets already home for Christmas, will they find out through AKO or from the cadre?

My son is in the same boat.

I talked to someone who's son heard from his PMS that the notifications could be out anytime between now and 2 weeks.

Keep checking your AKO account and you may also get an email from your PMS if they hear first.

I understand the frustration, the paperwork said that the results would be out Dec. 15th. We have learned having an older son that is a MS4 this year that nothing comes from the Army or Cadet Command on the date they originally post. The OML was 2 weeks late, the branching results were at least 2 weeks late, you can see the trend here.

Our son has learned he needs to be paitent, not easy to do sometimes, when waiting for anything from Cadet Command, they are busys folks and terribly under staffed.

Good luck to you.

Thanks, JCleppe. I will not be surprised if that turns out to be the case...maybe it will turn into a nice Christmas present. Good luck to yours as well!

People in my Btn were told where they were on the Brigade OML and asked to select three slots they wanted. This was last Wednesday/Thursday-ish. Haven't heard anything more yet.

My son has just been told by the ROTC staff at his school that Jan 10th 2012 is date they are looking at for the results.Have a nice Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Thanks, VBDad! We won't worry about it until next year, then.
You have a great holiday as well!

Yep, that's the word at my school as well.

Good look to all that applied. My daughter went last year. The CULP experience was a wonderful with eye-opening insight into a developing country.
