How often/when does the USAFA meet for decisions for the class of 2020? Every year seems different...
 
I think they generally meet every week, but I'm not quite sure about that.

If it works anything like last year, I would say watch the portal and have your phone on you for the next week and a half, especially this Friday and 3/18. Good things often happen in this time frame. :biggrin:
 
My DD is more aptly headed to Prep...So will they potentially make those decisions in the same time frame or well after?

DD received 3 nominations to USAFA and 1 each to USMA and USNA. Received appointments to USMA and USNA but hasn't accepted as he ultimately wants to attend USAFA. We are hoping with so many USAFA nominations that good things will happen in the next couple of weeks! If that doesn't happen, I couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments.
 
I wasn't saying she got a place in Prep....I'm saying she doesn't have a shot at USAFA, per test score. Even with those scores they put her through for a waiver and she got it in 3 days. She had a permanent DQ since October (weight/measurements) and that had resolved the day prior to the waiver submission). One of the Deputy Chief of Selections (I'm not sure if there are others) has also emailed her that they are working her file towards Prep.
