So does anyone know of a candiates that was invited to visit and then got declined?
 
I don't believe a CVW is a guaranteed acceptance, so I'm sure someone hasnt made it after attending one.
 
DITTO NYROWER - usually the CVW occurs before the offer screening, so it is very probable that there have been instances where a candidate who got a CVW didn't get an appointment. Just as there have been candidates who didn't get selected for NASS or a CVW who DID get an offer of appointment. Secret message - just keep stroking and doing your best.
 
On a thread from April 2009 there is a candidate who described themselves as 3Q'd , 2 nominations, NASS and CVW attendee who was not offered an appointment.
 
Not the thought I wanted to leave for lunch with!!!! But it is the truth.....Oh how I hate the two words....."in process"

Son is also 3Q with nom, invited and attended CVW - no news regarding appointment yet.
 
I heard USNA is on spring break next week. Will the Admissions Board also be on break too??
 
It is driving me crazy!! My son who was accepted to law school is on a waiting list at his first choice school.....double stress!
