Hi everyone.
I'm looking to compile all the deadline and dates into my computers calendar. If anyone has this done already and could post them or send them to me It would be greatly appreciated. I'm also doing the same for the Naval Academy.
Thanks

June 28, 2010: R-Day for Class of 2014

Activities for cadets on this first offcial day cross the spectrum from the ordinary (weigh-ins, filling out forms) to the outstanding (swearing-in ceremony). Cadets check-in between 7 and 8:20 am on a staggered schedule according to their company and, immediately after, change their clothing and proceed through an individualized company rotation, each of which includes the following routine (and not so routine) R-Day tasks:

  • Hair Cut
  • Mail Box Issue
  • Weigh-In
  • Lunch
  • Drill Practice
  • Uniform Issue
All companies reconvene on Washington Parade Field at 3 PM (1500) for the public SWEARING-IN CEREMONY (1500). This is then followed by the CLASS PHOTO (1600) and FINAL GOODBYES (1630 - 1645) to family and friends.

The remainder of the day for cadets includes a welcome address from the Commandant of Cadets, introduction of the Regimental Staff, a Medical Services Brief and an Evening Formation and Dinner. Finally, a Fire Drill and period for Company Time will end the day which marks the beginning of the transformation of the Class of 20xx from young civilian men and women into the select group of "Leaders of Character" which they will become.

I think that needs to be reworded

"Parental crying contiunes the entire day and is usually unscheduled and usually not prepared for"
*Tissue boxes have been donated by the parents group of the previous class and will be available for pick up at the gate of the Academy.
