Son was disenrolled from USCGA with an honorable discharge and is currently trying to enlist in the Army. The local recruiter is concerned about the absence of a reentry code which apparently is standard procedure for all separating cadets from USCGA. Is it possible to enlist without it? Is a waiver required? Guidance from anyone that has any experience in this area would be very welcome.

Probably best to contact the CGA to ask them, and get the document corrected if it's needed.

Was the disenrollment based on grades?

The RE code tells recruiter "if" a person can rejoin and what waivers are necessary to rejoin. They cant process anything without the code.
