Hi all, about two weeks ago I emailed my RD asking if my file had been viewed. He got back to me last Wednesday, March 4th saying "Your record has been to the board but I can't tell you the result of the board." Does this mean the board has made their final decision on my file? Should I be expecting to see something in the mail soon? Thanks!

Yes, the board has decided. If you were not found qualified, you will receive a TWE (and you might know relatively soon). If you were found qualified (presuming your are medically and physically qualified AND have a nomination), then you are eligible to compete for an appointment, which means your are competing on your nomination slate(s) or in the national pool and that notification might take a bit longer.

Your BGO might be a little bit more liberal with that information... hint hint.
I know mine was

BGOs aren't allowed to give this information out. It is also would be wrong (morally and ethically) to go behind the Admissions Counselor's back by asking the BGO for the same information, for which you were already told "no." This would be like asking mom to extend the curfew for a few hours, but she says no...then go to dad, who says yes.
