There is a chance that our DD may have to take deferred graduation (1 credit sea project redo that may run a few weeks past graduation). In the past, deferred grads have participated in all of the graduation ceremonies, but have received an empty case. We have heard that the plans for this year are that deferred grads will not walk at graduation. Does that mean that after 4 years of hard work and struggle, DD does not get any sort of celebration or public recognition? It’s not as if deferred grads can come back and participate in a later ceremony. DD is pretty upset about the possibility of not getting to participate in the graduation ceremonies. And we’re not thrilled at the idea of not getting celebrate her achievements just because the completion may be a week or two later than her classmates. Does anybody have any more information on this? I'm also wondering how this affects any 1/C who will need to retake licensing exams.
