Can't seem to get a straight forward answer from my cadet. How does a cadet go about requesting/visiting for a dental checkup (not a dental concern) and how does one get to visit an optician for an re-exam for new contact lenses?

The cadet calls up the appropriate cadet clinic and makes an appointment. The cadets have access to all of the information required to do this.

Call the dental clinic and request a cleaning. Same deal for the optometry folks...

[edit] Beat me to it stealth. Point is, it's not a convoluted process.

Ask the CQ desk for the number. It'll break them away from their DVD for a minute!

Speaking from the maternal standpoint, if our OP can't get a straight answer from his cadet about this issue, it might be that the cadet is 100% ready to tackle this function completely on his/her own! Since neither is life threatening, it might be best to put it out of your mind. And, try not to imagine just what else that cadet might not be upfront about! (be quiet you grammar police out there!)
