I recently joined the Delayed Entry Program for the Marine Corps, and I was just wondering if the physical I took at MEPs can be transferred for the DoDMERB? If so, how can I or my recruiter do that?

Going off that question, will I need to fill out all the paperwork and medical prescreening that I did for joining the DEP?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

These are 2 seperate medical acension authorities. I do not beleive they recognize each others qualifications, remedials or DQ's. You will likely have to start from scratch with DoDMERB. good luck.

These forums are for those interested in the Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, Naval Academy, West Point, and ROTC. The responses may not assist a prospective enlistee.

You may have better success on another website. Just google 'enlisted forums' and see what you get from there. Best wishes and thanks for acting on your desire to serve. :thumb:

The physicals are not interchangeable. DS who left the academy for academic reasons and is now DEP for USAF had to redo his physical through MEPS upon wanting to enlist. They would not even acknowledge that he had been to DoDMERB. Think it must be job security
