Did I hurt my chances?

    My name on the application did not match the DODMERB. My last name switched places with my middle name. It is resolved now after I sent them my birth certificate and my ssn card. They said it made all sorts of confusion.

    No, you're fine. :thumb: Just make sure that anything you send West Point you proofread, then check it over, and then check it again so you don't have boo-boos that slow down your application.

    You are going to have to be a machine regarding proof-reading and making sure all your ducks are in a row. Errors such as you describe, while won't hurt your chances, will cause a great deal of confusion.

    Be EXTREMELY careful about such things as names and numbers in the future. Attention to minute detail (aka "minutiae") is a valuable and desirable skill which you will use many times in your future.
