Just wondering if any of you have tips for staying focused and on track as it nears the end of the school year? Some nights I find myself continuously procrastinating after swim practice, resulting in sloppy, last-minute work. Case of severe senioritis here, except I can't use that as an excuse since I'm not a senior yet o_O

Well, not everyone will be successful in life, and you could be on you way joining their ranks. Do you like what I just said? If not, "Turn To"!

Stay on the path you're on and you'll need to think of a new username.

Ask your parents to blind fold you, drive you in the car for about an hour so they can drop you off in the woods....without a cell phone, money or your contact lenses or anything to read.

You will be shocked how fast things get prioritized in your mind.

    Good Luck !

I think you meant to say "I am now very motivated"?

You've mentioned before that you are in the 8th grade.....if you were my middle schooler and you were procrastinating and turning in sloppy, slapped-together work, you would have your computer, electronics, and cell phone privileges suspended until you realized the error of your ways. :eek2:

What you don't want to do is to be a poster in the USMA forum in 3 or 4 years trying to understand how your lousy grade in chemistry, calculus, physics, etc., (fill in the blank with the hypothetical class you did poorly in) is going to affect your West Point application. Dig in and give it all you've got. Here is your motivation: http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/index.php?threads/what-are-my-chances.14787/
