Any advantages/disadvatnages of being a direct admit from high school as opposed to being admitted from MAPS, Prior Service, College etc.. ?

    Here it goes....

IMHO, there are no guarantees to success at WP. I feel a year at a prep school would be extremely beneficial. One big advantage, you’ll be a year older and more mature. Time management is a huge skill to have mastered before entering any SA. Having a year of academic courses that mirror Plebe year will less the shock factor of doing so much in such very little time.

Take a look at attending a prep school. USMAPS is reserved for those who are academically DQ’d (recruited athletes, prior military, underrepresented who need to refresh academic skills) I’m rather partial to NWP (Northwestern Prep)
