I am viewing this in light of the whole "confused" war on CC. It basically shut down the real work of the SA forums for a week. I just don't want to see that happen.

It won't. I'll slam the door much faster next time. After all, that was the very reason this place was put together to begin with.

Look, I'll apologize to the regulars here if I was in any way out of line, but you're right that it's a bit of a challenge to be a detached moderator and an involved participant at the same time. He's a special case, of course. I went easy on him. :wink:

When someone registers on this forum and immediately goes to a political discussion, he has to be suspect. I immediately went to CC and spent as much time there as I could stomach, trying, unsuccessfully to find a match.

I thought his Clinton "don't ask, don't tell" explanation was a little over the top. Another red flag.

Early on, he was chastising us for being off subject, but then going off subject himself on the same post. Definitely he had an agenda. For those of us who forget, his initial post was about military member's dissatisfaction with the current administration. He led the thread way off track with his agenda.

He, calling himself an alumni, made a SAT Kaplan related post in re NASS. His comments proved he had no clue what he was talking about. Another red flag.

By the time zap unloaded on him, I wasn't sure who he was, but I was positive he had an agenda and the agenda was not in the best interest of the forum. I was just happy someone had the energy to rebut him.

Let's forget it and move on. This is a great forum.

USNA69, the reason you won't find "Confused" on CC is that they've disabled their search option. Even if it were working, you'd not find much as they took him down four times to my knowledge & deleted his posts. He was one nasty little critter. I'm with you on the moving on part. Its done and the sun is shining on another day. Hey! Where's our joke of the day? I need one!
