    Hey, everyone!

I have taken my DoDMERB about a week ago and I was finally able to log into my account just now. It said that I did not meet the vision standard.
I have my left eye is lazy and a couple of months ago the doctor told me it was about 20/50. As far as I know at the moment; to be elligible for ROTC you need 20/40(?). I was wondering how I would be able to go about getting a waiver for this or if the waiver process was all ready happening.

Here is what it says on my account for the DQ:

    Date Event Code(s)
    21-SEP-10 Application Added
21-SEP-10 Date applicant entered into DoDMERB system
    29-NOV-10 Actual date of exam
    01-DEC-10 Date letter sent - Disqualification D155.40
    01-DEC-10 Date exam reviewed
01-DEC-10 Date exam received at DoDMERB
    01-DEC-10 Medical data entry

Agency: US Army CSB SubAgency: 10115
Current Medical Status: Pending Waiver Submission/Review (as of 01-DEC-10 )
    Code Description
D155.40 Distant visual acuity that does not correct to an acceptable standard

If there is anyway I can try to get the waiver process over faster or even get the waiver at all; I will do anything. I appriciate any help!
