My DOD sticker allowed me to park on the Yard. Wonder what this will do for (the already tight) parking problem on SA's? How many additional weekend restrictions will be earned by underclassmen attempting to slide by? :shake:

Anyone care to wager on how long it takes before officers get placards to place on their dashboards signifying they're allowed to park in restricted spaces?

As a base commander here was fond of saying, "If it weren't for parking I'd have next to no issues." to which his CMC replied: "Sir, we don't have a parking problem. We have a walking problem."

It is my understanding that no underclassperson may park on the Yard. Parents may park in open parking after going through gate one or eight (sometimes lucky at MidStore}. Get it while you can but it is easy out at the point. Back in the day you had a different color on the sticker and had a wave thrugh if it was Officer Blue. I think firsties have assigned parking but like I said out at the Point usually has some open spaces.

At USNA, I don't see any change since other identification was used for MIDN 1/C cars.
