Hello my name is Jacob Bartsch. I originally planned on enlisting in the army. But When i was 7 years old i fell dislocated and fractured my elbow to make a long story short i consequently cant fully extend my left arm. My whole life i have had no limitations or things i can do i played football in high school wrestled in middle school and i can even bench press 180 pounds. So i went to the recruiters when i turned 17 explained my injury gave him all my surgical records even letters from my family physician and the doctor who preformed the surgery all saying i see no reason why it should be an issue. They recruiter sent all the **** up to the army medical doctors in Kansas city and i got declined i never attended MEPS. So my question now is can i do ROTC pass the DoDMERB at K-state university and still be eligible for a commision?

Nobody can tell your for sure one way or the other, you would have to go through the process and see how things play out.

My guess is since it has been declined once, and unless something has changed with your condition, you would most likely not be qualified through Dodmerb. That aside, you will never know unless you go through the process.

    +1 JCleppe.
No one here can give you a reliable answer. Running through the process will give you a reliable answer. Your previous experience/decline should temper your expectations.
And, importantly, please reconsider using your real name in public forums, such as this one.
