dodmerb app status?

Admission Status: Offer Extended
Admission Status Change Date: 13-NOV-2009
Current Medical Status: Pending Waiver Submission/Review (as of 03-DEC-09 )

This is my current status, I just saw today that it says offer extended!! The date though says 13 Nov, has it been that way that long and I just didn't notice or has the date just not been updated yet?
 
My sons has said the samething for quite a while. However there is NO way an offer has been extended because his app is not done and he does not have a nom the MMA. I know other peoples status' say the same thing. If you have a nom then I think it may be valid.
 
I got that status two weeks ago or so. Got my appointment in the mail last week.
 
Today I called the dodmerb help desk and the woman told me that any admission status change was per the individual academy and that they had nothing to do with that. So later I called USMMA and the woman there told me that I was no offered an appointment yet and that they had nothing to do with the change in admission status on the dodmerb site. I am very confused :confused:
 
The DODMERB site has shown offer extended for Merchant Marine for me since November. I never even completed the application process for that academy.

I was deferred to regular admission for the USCGA, but my DODMERB for USCGA has never changed from "in process". Lots of people in the forum's status changed to alternate.

Go figure.
 
Well, I have been told "welcome to government". I have ROTC applications and constantly receive letters saying my app is incomplete, so I will check the website. It gives a completely different list of items missing. I email cadet command and the email response will say something different than the other two. It is so emphasized that it is the applicant's responsibility to make sure their application is complete, but it seems impossible to make sure. I am sure they have a lot of information coming in, and lots of docs to go through. It is just so frustrating...the whole process.
 
Does that mean they HAVE extended an offer? According to their admissions office my file does not say that :confused: (and I was told the same thing many times...welcome to government :wink:)
 
Application status on the DoDMERB website is information transmitted from the particular Academy and ROTC programs. While it is ON the DoDMERB website, it is information that DoDMERB has no inputs, outputs, or interaction with whatsoever.

The best way to determine if an offer has been extended is to contact the respective Admissions office directly.:thumb:
