DoDMERB will be closed Fri 28 Jan - until Mon 31 Jan 7 AM MST. There will be no staff; no email*; and no website. On Monday, 31 Jan, we will be staffed and are hoping to resume website operations. We suspect at the outset, there will be limited capabilities that will expand as quickly as possible, until we return to normal operations. This is a necessary action that I have authorized to remedy the situation.

I thank most of the folks for their unending patience. Those that know me thru the Forums -- and the staff and me thru DoDMERB proper, know full well, that we ALWAYS want to assist applicants and their parents. We have proven that over time with thousands of applicants. No one, say again, NO one, wants the website to be working 24/7/365 more than the staff and me. For those speculators and suggestors that we have back-up systems and all the other suggestions, you clearly are unaware of what has been and will be done. I can assure you, far more experienced/competent folks than you or me, are on top of the situation.

*- Those that sent me emails AFTER 3 PM MST today, will NOT receive replies until monday afternoon.

So, I apologize endlessly to all those folks that this downtime has inconvenienced, but sometimes in life, these things happen and the best we can do is take the approrpiate corrective actions. That is what we are doing here and now.:thumb:
 
Good luck, Mr. Mullen. I know you've been trying hard all week to get this resolved. This closure sounds like it can help get things back on track!
 
Fax and phone

I have worked with DoDMERB via fax and via phone while the web site has been down. They have been very helpful. I realize that the fax and phone will not be available until Monday from what I am reading. BUT, just in case the site is still not working on Monday, don't forget that there are phone and fax capabilities that are functioning.

I wish DoDMERB a speedy recovery. It will be good to see the information online again. Good Luck!

While I am delighted that you folks are hoping the website will be up (at least in a limited capacity) on Monday, I don't think you can make the above statement concerning the posters on this site without knowing their backgrounds. Good luck on Monday! :thumb:

HNChang - Thx for the phone call and support. We try to reciprocate as much as possible. I've been working since 3 AM this morning and its time for a nap, but the "techies" are working even harder than me...as we speak:thumb:
