Hello,

I have a question, currently I was awarded a 3 year AROTC scholarship to my top 2 schools. However, upon reading the regulations I am overweight and I am worried that I may lose my scholarship. Also, if you're over the maximum body fat percentage can you lose the scholarship immediately or is there a way I could work toward getting to meeting the standards by the beginning of freshman year so that I am still be eligible to work toward activating my scholarship sophomore year?

Depending on the unit you have until your sophomore year to become medically qualified.
But if the PMS at your school is unhappy with your progress towards reaching the proper weight they may withhold their recommendation, which is another condition not activating the scholarship.
If you show up freshman year with the problem solved then the problem will be solved.
