DoDMERB disqualification???

Does anyone know if having braces would disqaulify you on the DoDMERB from getting accepted into any of the academies? Thanks.

Yes. They will. Braces must be removed prior to entering a US Service Academy.

What about permanent retainers. Are those means for medical DQ?
