DoDMERB Down tonight?

Mr. Mullen,

Thanks for letting us know how Dodmerb is updated! This waiting is hard, but it's nice to learn something new about the process.

Thanks for being such a great help to our kids!

Ditto Fairwinds....

Mr. Mullen, it's like waiting to see the Wizard of Oz.

Glad to know there is a real human being behind the "machine" we all are addicted to checking ad nauseum at this point in our lives....

Kudos for all you have done, and continue to do!

I hope Mr. Mullen will appreciate this kudo, we have emailed back and forth many times, it is an example of the expeditious manner in which DoDMERB functions!

Here is our super speedy timeline from start to finish of physical:

3 Feb: Son has eye exam
5 Feb: DoDMETS/Concorde website updated, eye exam passed
5 Feb: Son has physical
16 Feb: Exam reviewed at DoDMERB/Concorde, son needs remedial, website updated with doctor info, we make appointment
17 Feb: Remedial letter sent (we never needed the hard copy, website was awesome)
19 Feb (Friday): Doctor appointment for remedial
22 Feb (Monday): Remedial results at DoDMERB (Mr. Mullen's associate told me that Concorde overnights/faxes results immediately for fastest evaluation)
1 Mar: Son's current medical status is "Qualified Unrestricted Line."

In less than 1 SHORT month everything was resolved, and Larry Mullen and his staff reassured an anxious mom all along the way. I know not everyone's journey will be as smooth, but boy these people are there working for you and with you every step. Even if my son had been medically unqualified it wouldn't have been for their lack of trying. I hope this timeline offers some sense of perspective.
