The SA has to request the exam, you don't request it. It is another bar you must jump over in the appointment process.

They will send you a snail mail letter. You will be offered certain docs to take the exam with, and an allotted amount of time before you must complete it.

Do not assume your family doc will be the DoDMERB approved doc.

They will give you all the information you will need, in snail mail form and email form.

If you are applying to multiple SAs or ROTC scholarships, the exam will be accepted by all of them. The big difference is if you need a waiver. It is possible that one SA will not waive and the other sources will waive.

West Point is using file completion as a means to determine whether to request a medical exam for a candidate. Complete as much of your file as possible as soon as possible.
