Hi,

I've recently been through my exams for DoDMERB, and earlier this week I found out I got a remedial for earwax in my right ear covering my tympanic membrane. After finding out my remedial status, I immediately scheduled an appointment with my private physician (the code said to consult my private physician) and got it cleared, examined, and deemed acceptable on Wednesday.

I still have yet to receive my remedial letter in the mail, containing all of the instructions. Where do I go from here? Who do I submit this to and how?

Thank you.

kbyington12,

There are some instructions on the DoDMERB website regarding remedials. You can fax it in if less than 15? pages. However, when the letter arrives it tells you to include the 2nd page with your specific remedial number and text. Ensure identifying information like full name and SSN (we used partial xxx-xx-1234) are on the document from the doctor indicating the remedial is complete. We just wrote the partial ssn and full name on the top of the doctor's findings.

The letter with specific remedial instructions arrived about a 8 days after we found the remedial on the DoDMERB status page.

Good Luck
